Lavoyger E. Gies, DDS

Dr. Gies was born and raised in San Antonio. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and also the current President of the San Antonio District Dental Society. He stays current with the latest trends, procedures, and technology by regularly attending Continuing Education classes and industry events in order to provide the finest oral care for his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentists. Outside of work, you’ll find Dr. Gies running races, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, grilling BBQ for his three kids and enjoying a glass of wine with his wife.

Originally from California she moved to Texas to pursue a career in the dental field after serving in the United States Navy. She started as a Dental assistant then continued her education for dental hygiene graduating in 2017. When not in the office she spends her time with her husband and two daughters at the beach or working out with her best friend.

Tiffanie was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. (Wreck ‘em!) She has been a Dental Assistant since 2012 and a wonderful addition to the Gies Family Dental team. Outside of work, Tiffanie enjoys spending time with family and friends, floating the river and working out.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Heather was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to San Antonio in 2019 after graduating from dental hygiene school. She lives here with her husband, who’s an Air Force officer, and their two cats. She likes museums, trying new recipes, and boating. Her favorite museums are the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, and the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia.
